So here he is. This is his 2nd day in his new home. We picked him up yesterday and we couldn't be more delighted. He's a trooper. What a long car ride! He came home and ate like a champ. No problems what so ever. I still haven't got a name for him. I like Dexter but we can't seem to agree on it (Chris and I)... Baby squirrel doesn't to care as long as he gets a treat when he pokes his head out of the pouch. Ok here is his pick.



He has a really orangey coat and just a bit of white from his underside peaking out at the tip of his tail.

lol why doesn't anyone like that name. I like the show Dexter. Also it make you think "oh he must be smart". I also find it how they can hold onto anything with those little paws... very dexterous! I could call him Dex for short hehe. It's cute... Besides Dexter only kills other serial killers and he's a nice guy =D


I can't wait to see him change colors... sounds awesome!

He's such a sweetheart right now. I adore how he curls into a little ball and falls asleep in my hand. *sigh* I wish he could stay like this forever...

Lol @ Joan. I admit I'm a little twisted but it gives me character
I have had hard time with names for awhile now... I think I used up the last bit of creative naming energy I had on my son Rowan.
Awhile back (well almost a decade ago) I had a degu named Daywoo and a marbled fox named Foxes... I've had so many rescue animals that I just started calling them what they are.. Like my chinchilla... his name is Chilla
