BIRTH

Flying squirrels give birth to live young. Young are born without fur or any capabilities of its own. Their ears open at 2 to 6 days old, and fur grows in by 7 days. Their eyes don't open until they are 24-30 days old.

BIRTH

Gliders are marsupials. After about 16 days in the mother, the baby is born, with a weight of only 0.2 grams. It must then find its way to the mother's pouch where it will finish its development attached to one of four nipples for about 70 days. Joeys are weaned 110 to 120 days after emerging from the pouch, which is about 16 to 17 weeks.

Even though they are nocturnal they will enjoy playtime during the day, Will try to get your attention if you are in the room, to get them out and play .
